 
 Model Shoots and Information: I have participated in a handful of photo shoots thus far. All of the model pictures in my current portfolio were taken with a Kodak P850, a simple 5 MP camera. I now work with a Nikon D60, and I am looking to do many more model shoots. It is important to me to produce a quality product that both leaves me feeling confident in my work, as well as leaving the model feel empowered and beautiful. It is important to me that the women who model for me express their true character during the shoot. Presently I am not concerned with shaping any woman to a particular theme, rather, I am more concerned with showing the beauty of each woman through the images we create together. If you would like to do a photo shoot with me, simply contact me via e-mail or phone to set up a sit down. This is a simple 15 minute meeting that I have before booking a shoot so that the model and I can meet and discuss what kind of shoot we'd like to do together. Model Escorts: I have no problem with a new model bringing an escourt with then to the sit down ONLY. If you don't feel comforable meeting with me for a shoot by yourself after our sit down, then simply don't shoot with me. I do not allow escorts at my model shoots. Trade Shoots: Anymore it seems like models think they should get pictures for free, or even be paid for shoots outright, yet no one seems to want to pay the photographer. Likewise, it seems like photographers think they should be paid for model shoots, yet none of them want to pay the models. As for me, I take issue with models who have no experience that expect to be paid for posing for pictures they have no intention of paying for. I offer trade shoots for this reason, not only to help along models who have had little to no experience, but also because I have had little experience with models shoots as well. I don't expect someone to be willing to pay me for work when they don't have sufficiant samples as to the kind of work I can do, likewise, I don't expect to have to pay for a model that doesn't have any samples of the work they can do. Modeling isn't as easy as a lot of people think it is. You can't just stand in front of the camera and expect the photographer to make it happen. Past location, theme, and lighting, there is little the photographer can do to make you look like a model. It has to come from with-in. Confidence is sexy. Just as being around people who are always negetive can bring down your mood, being around people who exude a positive, confident vibe can make you feel great. When you look into the lens, I'd like to see into your eyes. I'd like you to make me feel through your expression exactly how you feel, and if all you feel is nervous and unsure of yourself, it's going to make for boring images. It's important to build a strong portfolio of only your best work for this reason. If you're serious about getting work as a model, you had better show that you ARE a model. This is my goal for my personal portfolio as well. I'm looking to create images that showcase my talents as a photographer. I am interested in doing all types of model photography from the morbid to high fashion. For this reason, I need to do a whole lot more shooting with all types of models. A trade shoot with me will get you about an hour or two of shooting with 15 or so edited shots that you will be able to use as you please online. These images will look just like the image on the top of this page, with my copyright included. The only time a model will receive a cd of images, or all images from a shoot will be after I am paid for the rights. Specifics on rates and what terms of rights paid for can be discussed at any time before or after the shoot. |
